What: Kindness rocks is a viral trend where people paint stones and leave them for others to find and collect. Photos of the painted rocks are commonly shared on Facebook groups.
How: My favorite supplies:
White or Black “Tropical Beach Pebbles” from Lowe’s outdoor gardening section https://www.lowes.com/pd/Sunniland-0-25-cu-ft-White-Mexican-Beach-Pebbles/1000051055
Uni Posca Paint Markers from Amazon or Michael’s Medium point for painting and thin point for outlines and writing words https://www.amazon.com/Mitsubishi-Marking-Colours-Standard-Natural/dp/B06ZYKRQJQ/ref=sr_1_5?crid=DDW76I8M9Q9Q&keywords=posca+paint+markers&qid=1641061828&s=office-products&sprefix=posca+pa%2Coffice-products%2C101&sr=1-5
Spray Finish for shine and to protect from the elements from Michael’s. I like Modge Podge Super High Shine or Decoart Triple Thick Gloss Glaze Spray
Where: You can put them out at hospitals, low-income schools, assisted living, public parks, etc. Or even your own neighborhood to inspire others to join in and get involved and be happy. Don’t trespass or put anywhere people can trip on them or they will get caught in a lawnmower. You can put them in the crooks of trees, along a path, at benches, ledges, windowsills, in gardens, etc
